The study of resistance to the history of colonial society
In compiling this book, we identify a range of theoretical and methodological issues relating to the study of resistance and colonialism, across academic disciplines and historical topics. This is a collection of Nigel Bolland's best essays on Belize. While the essays do not provide a complete treatment of Belize's past, the focus is on examining the durability and effectiveness of the designed power relations.
