The Ramadan Effect on Kse 100 Index Finance Essay
Abstract. This study presents the impact of money supply, its value against other currencies and inflation on the index and examines whether an investor is more likely to invest in the Karachi. Therefore, the current article examines the earnings manipulation and dividend policy of a sample KSE – non-financial listed companies of Pakistan Stock Exchange – in 2016. Using a similar technique, Yucel 2005 examines the effects of Ramadan on food prices in Turkey. Akmal et al. 2010 deals with how changes in consumer price index in Pakistan are affected.
