Twenty-two years into the new democratic dispensation 1999-2021, we believe there is sufficient practice and evidence to conduct an investigation into political decision-making in Nigeria. This collection of essays examines the structures and processes of political decision-making and governance in Nigeria. It is designed to interrogate foreign policy. Foreign policy is designed to achieve complex domestic and international agendas. Usually it involves an extensive series of steps, in which domestic politics play an important role. Moreover, in most cases the head of government is not an individual actor. Foreign policy decisions are usually collective and/or influenceable. 1 Introduction. Women's full and effective political participation is a matter of human rights, inclusive growth and sustainable development. The active participation of women, on an equal basis with men, at all levels of decision-making and political involvement is essential for achieving equality, sustainable,
