I think architecture should still strive to move us, to give us a certain feeling. Like a piece of music, architecture has the ability to influence the mood, yet it is largely in the foreground. The 'what' or the 'why' of our feelings. The mood is rather ambivalent. phenomenon that brings out 'how' we feel what we feel, and it helps. to make us appreciate its subjectivity. There are broadly two philosophical literatures on 'happiness', each corresponding to a different meaning of the term. People use 'happiness' as a value term, roughly synonymous with well-being or flourishing.
