Homology Modeling or Comparative Modeling Computer Science Essay
Incorporating the application of homology modeling, which is also considered comparative modeling, can enable the provision of low-D protein structures with improved accuracy made feasible. As technology advances, many prediction algorithms have been developed to facilitate the modeling of inherently dynamic and flexible macromolecules such as proteins. Improvements in the prediction of protein structures have attracted much attention because of the advantages they offer, for example in drug design. Although familiar, this study used homology modeling and comparative genomics approaches to propose the D structure and possible functions for the outer membrane protein H of P. multocida. Using a well-defined protein structure and annotations we can predict functional and binding sites, which can help with this,
