International Labor Organization, a specialized ILO agency of the United Nations, dedicated to improving working conditions and living standards around the world. Established by the Treaty of Versailles as an affiliate agency of the League of Nations, the ILO became the first affiliated specialized agency of the United Nations. As defined in the International Standards 19th ICLS, 2013, the labor force includes persons of working age who are actively involved in the labor market.
