An Overview of Streaming Multicast Techniques Computer Science Essay
Abstract. The emerging Software Defined Networking SDN paradigm is being adopted by the telecom industry as it enables flexible allocation, configuration and management of network resources. Multicast is an essential and attractive service for a wide range of today's Internet applications because of its bandwidth-saving efficiency and flexibility. Computer science is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the study of computers and their uses in the real world. As a result, the field of computer science focuses on the theoretical underpinnings of computers as well as their actual use and creation. Some common areas of study within the field are design and engineering. In this paper, we proposed a novel application-level multicast technique called membership duration-aware ALM, which aims to construct stable, robust and efficient overlay multicast trees. This technique uses each member's announced membership duration to minimize the amount of time spent. An Overview of Multicast Routing Algorithms in Network on Chip. Multicast is a method of group communication in which the sender simultaneously sends data to multiple receivers or nodes on the network. Multicasting is a form of one-to-many and many-to-many communication, in which the sender or senders can send data packets to multiple receivers,
