Dyslexia: Dyslexia is the most common learning disability, accounting-wise, of all cases of learning disabilities. It is a language processing disorder characterized by difficulties with speaking and reading, as a way to enable people with learning disabilities to move out of segregated institutions and back into the main community. Person-centred planning is specifically designed to empower people, directly support their social inclusion and directly challenge devaluation. A student with a learning disability exhibits a wide range of characteristics. Such students experience difficulties in reading comprehension, writing and speaking languages ​​and reasoning. Learning difficulties in students are also associated with inattention, hyperactivity, and perceptual coordination. The perception of disability has undergone significant changes over the years, with different models emerging to interpret the experiences of people with disabilities. This essay examines three prominent models: the charity model, the medical model, and the social model of disability. Each model offers a different perspective. This study examined the willingness of undergraduate social work students to practice with individuals with intellectual disabilities and their attitudes toward individuals with intellectual disabilities, indicating scientific understanding of the causes and effective interventions, as well as openness to interaction with persons with intellectual disabilities. SUMMARY This study, a career in social work focused on individuals with developmental disabilities, has the potential to yield significant personal rewards when efforts lead to better lives for clients.
